The Muralist Era Begins...

I have been busy in Thailand painting my first murals since I was a teacher in school. I felt drawn to creating murals again while we have been traveling and realised what a perfect opportunity to experiment. It has been a dream of mine since I was about 15 to paint a mural and it has finally happened and grown into far more than I ever expected.
It's funny to reflect because it turns out the first murals that I painted as a teacher for my school, were what initially sparked my conversations with Matt, my now partner. Matt is the person who pushes me out my comfort zone and reminded me how incredible traveling is. It is now traveling with Matt that I am brought right back to murals... a full circle moment!
Painting these murals has given me so much joy and fulfilment that I have no doubt this is the next step on my path as an artist. I have therefore invested in a mentor and will be pursuing this seriously, establishing myself as a muralist in Australia. Excited to see what the muralist van life has to offer and to spread beauty, colour and artwork all over Australia.

Southeast Asia... Here We Come!

The adventure begins and we have officially set off on our journey through Southeast Asia, starting in... Singapore! I look forward to seeing how this next adventure may inspire my future work and will be bringing my trusty watercolor palette with me to paint on the road.
